Here’s more on the ACNA:
The Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) unites more than 130,000 Anglicans in over 1,000 congregations across the United States and Canada into a single Church. It is an established Province in the global Anglican Communion.
Our place in GAFCON makes us part of the world-wide Anglican Communion, 85 million strong. As one the hidden gems of Christendom, the Anglican Communion is the third largest family of Christians in the world today.
Members of the Anglican Church in North America are in the mainstream, both globally and historically, of Christianity. As Anglicans, this orthodoxy is defined by and centered on our church’s classic formularies – the Creeds, the Book of Common Prayer (1662), and the Thirty-nine Articles – which all point back to the authority of the Scriptures and articulate foundational principles of the Anglican tradition. See our Theology page for more info.
We love our Diocese and our movement. We are proud to be part of our denominational family, whose mission is to “Reach North America with the transforming love of Jesus Christ.” Come be a part of what God is doing in our midst!
